Found!t – Grocery Navigation App

Role: Lead UX Designer | Duration: June 2024 – July 2025

Overview:
Found!t is a grocery store navigation app designed to take the stress out of shopping. Using real-time inventory data, in-store positioning, and AR guidance, it helps shoppers quickly locate products, discover deals, and enjoy a smoother in-store experience.

The Challenge:
Shoppers waste time wandering aisles, often leaving stores empty-handed because they can’t find what they need. The goal was to create an app that not only saves time but also makes grocery shopping easier, more accessible, and even enjoyable.

My Process:

  • User Research: Identified key pain points like time pressure, crowded aisles, and unfamiliar store layouts.

  • Design & Prototyping: Created paper and digital wireframes, tested user flows, and built high-fidelity prototypes.

  • Usability Testing: Refined navigation, added list mode for multiple items, improved help menus, and prioritized accessibility.

Key Features:

  • Fast Navigation: Step-by-step guidance using maps, directions, and AR.

  • Inclusive Design: One-handed gestures, clear typography, and audio cues for accessibility.

  • Smart Shopping: Live sales, nearby product suggestions, and real-time availability.

Impact:
What started as a wayfinding tool grew into a smarter, more inclusive shopping experience. Found!t doesn’t just guide shoppers—it enhances the whole trip by making errands less of a chore and more efficient, accessible, and user-friendly.
